In this project, the challenge is to carry out the water depth measurements with unmanned vessels instead of manned ships. The aquatic drone will be further developed into an autonomous sailing ship that can carry out the measurements safely, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. The vessel will be set up in such a way that it has "situational awareness", can avoid other vessels and is self-learning. In addition, the project will be used to effectively process and analyse the collected data and to make future predictions for waterway management through interpretation.
